Terms of sale

YOUARENTFAMILY is a private showroom and online shop based in Marin County, California. You can reach us at youarentfamily@gmail.com.

We sell vintage, used and one-of-one objects and clothing. We describe each piece (condition, size, measurements, era) as accurately as we can, and the photos show the actual piece. Used items show wear; measurements can vary slightly.

Where we’ve verified something such as a brand, era or authenticity, the listing says so. Where we haven’t, the listing says that too.

Each piece is one of one. Your order is accepted when your payment is confirmed. While you’re paying, we hold the piece for you; if payment isn’t completed, the hold is released.

If we can’t fulfil an order (for example, a piece was sold elsewhere or a price was listed in error), we’ll tell you and refund you in full.

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Sales tax is added where required. We may correct pricing errors before accepting an order.

Our showroom is by private appointment. We share the exact location only after an appointment is confirmed.

The photos, text and design of this site belong to YOUARENTFAMILY. Please don’t copy or reuse them without asking.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
